Sacraments in Full Swing this Spring

Spring is a time for new beginnings. Not only do the flowers bloom, the trees blossom, and the birds return from their Southern getaway, but we as Catholics celebrate new stepping stones in our Faith.

On Sunday April 27th and Saturday May 3rd 23  parishioners shared in the body of Christ for the first time as they celebrated their First Communion.

Then, on Friday, May 9th 20 parishioners took the next step in their Catholic Faith by receiving the sacrament of Confirmation. While the services took place at St Gabriel the Archangel’s in Upton, candidates were given their official send off at the 10:00 mass on May 4th, and were later celebrated upon their return on May 11th.

Congratulations to all parishioners who celebrated these achievements and to the family and friends who share joyously in their faith.
