01/16: Children’s Fun Night

We invite all children in grades 1-5 to join us in the Youth Center for the Children’s Fun Friday night event on January 16, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  We will be playing games, sharing snacks, and having fun!  This is a great free fun opportunity for families in our parish.  The younger members of our parish are invited to learn to play the games the big kids play.  Please register by email to Donna Wilson at  Thank you!

02/18-02-20: Winter Mini Vacation Bible School

Winter Mini-VBS – Join us for a Fiesta during February Vacation, 2/18-2/20. We will celebrate God’s Love for us.  We will meet 9:30 to 12:30 in the Parish Center on Wednesday thru Friday.  Our activities include Bible Stories, games, crafts, music and snacks.  We are asking for a donation of $10 per child or $15 per family to help cover the costs of this program.  Please sign up by email to or pick up a registration form in the Welcome Room in the Parish Center or at Coffee & Donuts.

01/18: VBS Breakfast/Fundraiser

To support our vision of a no-cost Summer Vacation Bible School Program, we invite the parish family and friends to our 5th annual VBS Breakfast Fundraiser on Sunday, January 18 following both the 8 AM and the 10 AM Masses. We will offer pancakes, eggs, sausages, bacon, hashbrowns, toast, muffins, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. Any one who loves to bake and would like to donate a quick bread or a dozen muffins, please contact Donna Wilson at 508-377-4043 or email her at Tickets will be available after all Masses on Jan. 3 & 4 and 10 & 11. The cost is $8 per person and $24 per family. Please purchase tickets in advance.

12/27-12/28: Food Pantry and New Day Outreach

“…I assure you, as often as you did it for one of my least brothers, you did it for me.” Matthew 26:40 On the last full weekend of each month, we have an opportunity to respond to Jesus’ call for us to help those in need. Next weekend, December 27 & 28, is our Food Pantry and New Day Outreach weekend.
Food Pantry
This month our donations will go to the Northbridge Association of Churches Food Pantry in Whitinsville. Please purchase an extra item or two when you do your shopping this week and bring them to church next weekend.

New Day
Monies received in the Good Shepherd Church replica on the last full weekend of each month are used to help individuals and families from our parish, and also to support various community causes. Your generosity each month enables us to continue to help those in need.

Mass times for Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve  include the following:

12/10/2014: Peace Of Bread

The Good Shepherd team will be serving at the Peace of Bread Community Kitchen on Wednesday, December 10. Volunteers looking to help with meal preparation should arrive at 3:30 and those helping to serve meals at 5:00. The kitchen is located at the United Presbyterian Church at 51 Cottage Street, Whitinsville. If interested in helping with this meal or future meals please contact
