06/09/2015: Senior Seminar: Osteoporosis

Tuesday, June 9, 10-11 AM: “Osteoporosis: Are You at Risk?” This seminar is offered by VNA Care Network & Hospice and is funded by the Central MA Agency on Aging. It is free for seniors who are age 60 and over. Both seminars will be held in the St. John Paul II Room of the Parish Center

05/25/2015: Memorial Day Mass

On Monday, May 25 at 8 AM, we will join with St. Mary’s Parish for the celebration of Memorial Day Mass at St. Mary’s Cemetery. You are welcome to bring a chair with you, but please do not bring any food, beverages, or pets onto the cemetery grounds. If the weather forecast as of 6 PM Sunday evening is for rain or rain likely on Monday, Mass will be celebrated here at Good Shepherd at 8 AM.

05/14/2015: Feast of the Ascension

Feast of the Ascension of Jesus Thursday, May 14 is the Feast of the Ascension of Jesus into Heaven. It is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses will be celebrated in the main church.

First Annual Good Shepherd Chicken Barbeque

Join us for the First Annual Good Shepherd Chicken Barbeque on Saturday, June 6 from 10AM until 3PM. Lunch will be served in the parish hall for Adults at $10 a plate and for Children under 10yrs old for $4 a plate. The menu for Adults includes ½ of a chicken, potato salad, green salad, dessert and a beverage. The menu for Children is a hot dog or ¼ of a chicken, potato salad, green salad, dessert and a beverage.

Yard Sale Tables will be made available for the rental cost of $20 a table. Please reserve your tables as soon as possible so that they can be set in advance.  Lunch Tickets will be pre-sold after Masses on the weekends of May 23rd to 24th and May 3oth to 31st.

 

05/28/2015: Health Seminar Cooking Safety Awareness

A health seminar will be held on Thursday, May 28 from 10-11 AM in the St. John Paul II Room of the Parish Center. The speaker will be Cheryl Ethier, Uxbridge Firefighter/Paramedic. The topics she will discuss will include Cooking Safety Awareness. This important seminar is made available to us by the Uxbridge Fire Department through a grant. Refreshments will be provided.
