07/01/2016: Free Family Trip to Boston

Free family trip to Boston!!! Friday, July 1: Boston Children’s Museum, Sports Museum, and Faneuil Hall/ Quincy Market. This is part of the Free Fun Fridays sponsored by the Highland Foundation. Transportation by school bus is provided. Those in 4th grade and younger must be accompanied by a parent. Youth leaders will be provided for those in grade 5 and up. Families will be dropped at the Children’s Museum and the rest of the group will go to the Sports Museum. Both groups will be picked up at lunchtime and brought to Quincy Market. Spending money will be needed for lunch and shopping. We will meet at 8:30 AM at Good Shepherd and return for 6 PM. Please contact Jean Peterson to sign up (508-847-9524 or jpeterson@gsyouth.org.)

06/18-06/19 2016: Cardboard City

Cardboard City will be taking place on Saturday June 18 at 2pm to Sunday, June 19th at 12pm. Cardboard City is a fun event where the kids live outside over night in cardboard boxes and learn about homelessness. We make this time of learning fun and action packed. The kids participate in a 5 town treasure hunt to collect items for people in need and 50% of funds collected will go to our local food pantries. Attached is the information and permission slip. Parents are welcome to join us. So we have a correct count for food, please message that you are coming.

06/15/2016: Rosary Makers Meet

The Rosary Makers Group will meet on Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM in the St. John Paul II Room of the Parish Center. This is our last meeting until the fall. See you on September 21!
