Help Wanted for the Holiday Fair

The Holiday Fair is Tiptoeing near. Here’s what you can do to help us prepare:

Crafting: Do you make or sew a unique crafty item? Are you making such an item as a gift? Have you come up with a fun craft to make with your kids? Or maybe you have a family member who has such a talent? If so, would you be willing to donate one or more of these items to our craft and sewing table for our November church fair? If you do, please contact Florence Desmarais at 508-278 5086 to let her know what you have for us and then leave it in the fair baskets at the church entrance!

Donate Toys and Children’s Books: The Kids table for the Holiday Fair is
looking for donations. Please leave your donations at the entrance at the back of the church in the boxes provided. Any questions, please see Amanda Patnode or Karen Jordan.

Make Cookies: Our cookie walk has become so popular that last year we sold out before noon — and no one likes to show up and find no more cookies. That’s where you come in. Whether you’ve baked in the past or are a rookie, we could use your help to make this year’s Cookie Walk the most bountiful yet. And since we all know that variety is the spice of life, we encourage you to explore new recipes to help us expand our cookie selection. Sites like Pinterest or allrecipes.com can provide great sources of inspiration. We appreciate your support. Please contact Harriet Campbell at arithmetic8@yahoo.com with any questions.

Bake: Bakers are needed for our bake sale table and Pie table.

Volunteer: The Holiday Fair would not be possible were it not for the hard work of our volunteers. We need your help, whatever time you can spare. Whether it’s selling items at a table, serving the luncheon, or directing guests.

Donate Baskets: Have empty baskets left over from prior prizes, or simply extras hanging around the house. We could use your donations to help with our raffle tables.

Spread the Word: Post signs, share on Facebook, tell a friend. We could use your help getting the word out.
