Music Ministries

Whether you sing or play an instrument, Good Shepherd offers several opportunities for both adults and children to share the gift of music at Mass.

Contact: Carol A. Zabinski, Director of Music Ministry

Ministries include:

Cantors: Cantors are individuals willing to lead the congregation in singing during Mass.
Adult Choir: The adult choir sings a variety of styles of music, from traditional to contemporary.
Youth Choir: The Youth Choir engages children in the Mass through the joy of music. The Youth Choir repertoire is age appropriate. They learn the theme of the Mass, the parts of the Mass which are to be sung, and are featured at either the Offertory or Communion song.
Instrumentalists: Musicians who contribute to the celebration by playing various instruments
Guitar Group:  The Guitar Group is a recently formed group of acoustic, bass guitar, and banjo players.
Festival Choir: The Festival Choir Ministry meets the needs of those parishioners who cannot make a weekly or bi-weekly commitment to choir, but would like to sing at the Christmas and Easter seasons.
Hand Bell Choir: The Hand Bell Choir enriches various Sunday liturgies and other celebrations by accompanying singing and offering other solo pieces to the glory of God.
